little best friends. adorable little best friends.

the story goes like this. two best friends marry two best friends. what do they get? two little best friends. two adorable little best friends.
my house. 5 o clock. there is the most beautiful blue light coming through my bedroom window and i have got to shoot some pictures. madelyn and mercedes were playing princesses. don't you girls want me to take some beautiful princess pictures? at first they liked the idea of it, but as the daylight burned away i resorted to bribery: please!you can dress in tutus!you can eat marshmallows!you can jump on my bed!i'll do anything just let me take some pretty pictures of you! we had alot of fun. in between: put your leg down!stop wiggling!get your fingers out of your nose!get closer together!look at me!stop eating marshmallows!
by far, my favorite is this shot of mercedes. it was worth all the mayhem. and marshmallows.

i've always had a thing for photog-i would always think, o i want to do this or that, but it's not until now !yea! i have a good camera to work with!(it's been on the list but always gets outvoted by oh, clothes and shoes.) my 5 year old point and shoot- we're talking i had to angle the camera to compensate for a 2 inch off composition, a broken screen, i mean i was a miracle worker, really. i LOVE my new one! i'm totally obsessed!

That was beautiful, Rachelle. You are DEFINITELY making the world a better place with the gorgeous kids you are creating. I still remember how much I admired you when the first you told me when I met you was that you wanted to have a large family. Getting to know you better, it sure seems like you are cut out for it. You are awesome!
