today was joyschool graduation. christian changed his plans to go to the ranch so he could come. aunt shelley came. (which was really sweet, and shows how much she loves mady, to support a 3 year old's joyschool graduation.) i spoke as group leader and talked about how much i love all our little js children and all the things we've learned together and what i've learned about the kids. my favorite part about this program (ok my favorite part is all of it, it is such a great thing) but my fave part is that it reminds us to teach our preschoolers the wonderful "joys" of life: order, self confidence, repentance, service, work, spontaneous delight, imagination, uniqueness, decisions and rules... so much more. it is such a wonderful program. lamoni (bella's dad) gave a talk thanking the moms for their work and effort. it was a sweet talk and it meant alot to hear him thank us. the kids sang the joyschool pep song and i've got joy. ok, sadie sang them. alan, madelyn and bella were shy (or distracted) to sing. the kids gave their moms ribbons and then they recieved their diplomas and report cards. they marched into the room to pomp and circumstance. really. we made graduation caps for them and had graduation gowns sewn for them. (great idea cambria!) it turned out just so cute. it was fun to make such a big deal of them. they are a big deal. what sweet kids. i just love them all so much! cute little graduates. they deserved all the pomp and circumstance!

So cute! By the way, thanks for all your good foodie recipes. I check that blog about everyday. My boys loved the Crock Pot Dump (chicken italiana).
