first teeth, first feast

olivia's first tooth came in yesterday. olivia had her first meal on monday, sweet potato mash. she really enjoyed it. she kept grabbing for the spoon. madelyn was very excited about the new high chair and olivia's feast.

there is no vernon woman who will miss that "j". soooo, here's a closeup of the juicy bum.

this mady pic. i could just squeeze her! oooo!though it looks like mady may be jumping on a trampoline in war-ravaged Kosovo, this is actually our backyard. broken glass topped wall and everything. how quaint, right? our almost picket fence. my glamourous mexican lifestyle. just focus on the cuteness of the baby.

it is very difficult to get pics of this busy lady. she is loving joyschool and she is excited to be in primary. she is into playing outside, doing art, helping me cook, drinking red juices, and anything else that can get her clothes as dirty as possible. she is trying my stain skills, but no worries, i can compete. i have only met a couple of stains i cannot remove-- one of them involves a baby on the loose with a sharpie. yikes, just the thought of it makes me shudder. luckily no juicy was involved in "the incident." i am looking forward to the girls new summer wardrobes-- you should have seen my house in the decision making process. i have of course overbought, (insert collective parental groan here, but just remember, parents, i'm not on your payout anymore, i got a new sugar daddy now, and little kids have to be clothed!) and had to lay out every outfit for consideration. olivia had 36 outfits, yes 36, and mady a measly 20, not including church dresses. don't tell cj, but there is more waiting at the mailbox. . .
