missing mady

mady went to arizona for the weekend with her aunt jenny and uncle brete. jenny and brete are unbelievably sweet with mj. they don't have any grandkids yet, mady is their pseudo-grandbaby. mady adores her jenny and brete- they all seem to be equally taken with each other! mady spends the night at jenny's every so often because brete is gone alot. they make cookies together, look at wilbur and the piglets, have naps, watch old disney movies and hang out together. mady has a little obsession with her aunt j and tried to sleepover about 15 days in a row. (and really did end up there for a few nights in a row.) she packs up her dora suitcase with pj's and a blanket and waits with her lambie by the door. jenny says she loves hanging out with mady because madelyn's just so sweet and adaptable, you can reason and talk with her like a grownup. i must say, she's pretty fun to hang out with. (mady and jenny!) in AZ, mady's going to see her gma christine, gma great elma and lots of cousins. they're going to the park, swimming, to movies-she's going to have alot of fun. i wrote her little love letters and sent presents for every day we're apart. i am leaving for NM tommorrow morning to go to "Time Out." i have to laugh every time i say it, because i am still at the time out stage of life. Mommy needs a time out! i'm super excited. i'm looking forward to being enlightened and refreshed. and-i love hanging out with shelley and christine. i bet we'll be laughing the whole time. anyhoo---poor CJ is going to be all alone. I'm sure he'll take advantage of his wife-less-ness and spend all saturday at the racetrack. (motorcycles, not horses; although i'm not sure which is worse) cj deserves a day of fun, and some serious sleep. he came home from the ranch last night at midnight! midnight! he's been working so hard. awww, that lambie picture! i am missing mady!!!
