we picked up m from nursery today to find she was covered (face and hands only, luckily the hanna dress came out unscathed) in green chalk. rusty and cj were calling her "the hulk." i still am not sure how the green chalk got all over her face and hands and no where else. livi was a little bit fussy during church (which was inconvenient, because i chose a turtleneck dress, and had to find a place where i could lift my entire dress to feed her) and by about 5pm i realized why- her diaper had not been changed-. . . all day. can't blame pregnancy brain anymore, or lack of sleep! i may be the only mom of a newborn who gets plenty of sleep. poor livi. she survived, of course, but the mother guilt nearly did me in. we came out of church into glorious sunshine, which was unexpected since we had almost a foot of snow yesterday. (we spent the evening with our friends, by the fire at their house, talking about !food storage! then went to bed without power) but the sunshine began to melt m and c's snowman (frosty) which melted that poor girl's heart. i promised she could see him forever if we took their picture together. i couldn't find the charger for my camera so i had to take a still picture with my camcorder. it was a race against time to find a camera before frosty melted. too bad frosty was half melted already.
